The crackers and cheese pictured above look good don’t they. Too bad they are just a picture and not the real thing. So… we cannot taste the crackers and cheese and nuts. Too bad, they look really good.

Being present for something is very different from viewing it on tv or the computer. Churches have been shut down for months, and rightly so. We have been streaming a message every Sunday. While it is not the same as being here in person, it is the best anyone can do.

Starting tomorrow we will be holding services at 9:00 am behind the church. We will be following the CDC, State and Conference UCC guidelines for everyone’s safety. We ask people to observe the following precautions.

 Wear a mask at all times
 Bring your own chairs and Bible.
 There are marks on the grass to ensure proper social distancing.
 There will be music, but no singing.
 Print or read the attached bulletin
 We will provide hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes
 There will be no “Passing of the Peace” or Communion
 Please continue to mail in your pledge as there will be no collection
 Church restrooms will not be open.
 We ask people not to congregate in close groups before or after the service.
 If you don’t feel well please stay home.
 The service will also be live streamed as in past weeks.

See you there!
